O Marisquiño is Spain’s biggest urban culture event, featuring breakdancing, graffiti, and skateboarding… Thousands of professional and amateur riders from around the globe gather in Vigo (Pontevedra) for this one-of-a-kind event every second weekend in August.
I was given the chance to create and illustrate the official Marisquiño 2019 image for its XIX Edition. The concept was to incorporate all of the festival’s sports and a typical Galician crab in a letter M with a modern, urban aesthetic that matched the event’s philosophy.
